This recognition was presented during the Customer Experience Summit held in Dallas, USA, in the presence of prominent healthcare and technology institutions from around the world.

Dr. Essam Al Zarooni, Acting Executive Director of the Clinical Services Sector at EHS, said the accolade is an international recognition of EHS’s leading capabilities in utilizing advanced medical coding solutions. He added that these solutions have contributed to improved resource management and increased the Case Mix Index (CMI) across its facilities.

Solventum praised the performance of Emirates Health Services in employing advanced medical coding solutions, highlighting that the use of the cutting-edge 3M Codefinder tool has resulted in a remarkable increase in coding accuracy by as much as 95% within a record timeframe of less than two years. The company emphasized that EHS demonstrated an unprecedented commitment to implementing advanced health technology and successfully integrated its solutions into daily operations effectively, setting a benchmark to be emulated by healthcare institutions globally.
This award recognizes the exceptional performance of Emirates Health Services in adopting and implementing advanced medical coding solutions, resulting in a significant improvement in healthcare quality and operational efficiency across its facilities. According to data from Solventum, EHS has successfully transitioned from the ICD-9 to the ICD-10 coding system and has integrated the DRG-IR system to enhance inpatient and emergency department services comprehensively.
In addition to achieving high accuracy in advanced coding, EHS has demonstrated excellence in utilizing the HDM data management tool, which has been instrumental in generating 50 comprehensive reports. These reports cover statistical analyses, quality assessments, key performance indicators, and dynamic dashboards, thereby streamlining performance tracking, establishing evaluation standards, and managing improvement pathways.
