H.E. Dr. Yousif Al Serkal, Director General of Emirates Health Services (EHS), honored 30 winners of the first edition of the "Tamayyaz" and "Sustainability" awards, which were established based on best practices. The ceremony took place at EHS's Training and Development Center in Sharjah.
The "Tamayyaz" and "Sustainability" awards aim to enhance the readiness level of outstanding staff in EHS, in addition to building a database of distinguished categories and preparing them for participation in local and international awards. The awards also aim to achieve sustainability in the quality and efficiency of performance, and enhance the sustainability of healthcare services’ quality through promoting innovation and achieving sustainability on social, economic, and environmental levels, and encouraging volunteering in the field of sustainability, thus contributing to enhancing the work environment and leading to improved patient outcomes.
Emirates Health Services’ "Tamayyaz" award comprises 11 main categories, including 21 sub-awards. The main categories include Supervisory, Doctors, Nursing, Clinical Support Professionals, Administrative and Financial fields, Technical and Engineering fields, Customer Happiness, Future Jobs, Government Communication, Youth, and Innovative Employee category.
As for Emirates Health Services’ Sustainability Award, it includes 7 main categories at both institutional and individual levels, comprising 9 sub-awards. The institutional sustainability categories include Social, Economic, and Environmental Sustainability, Innovation in Sustainability, and Sustainability Partnerships, while the individual categories include Innovative Employee in Sustainability, Young Inspirational Employee in Sustainability, Trained Sustainability Employee, and Volunteering Employee in Sustainability. During this event, His Excellency Dr. Yousif Mohammed Al Serkal praised the awardees’ efforts, emphasizing that these awards confirm Emirates Health Services’ commitment to elevating quality and sustainability standards, and are a true reflection of the vision of our visionary leadership that has adopted excellence as an approach. The award ceremony was attended by executive directors and a selection of EHS’ leaders and employees. The ceremony included the announcement of the integration of the "Tamayyaz" and "Sustainability" awards into "Emirates Health Services Award for Outstanding Performance.”
