Dr. Yousef is the Nursing Program Chair in the Health Sciences Division at the Higher College of Technology. Dr. Yousef is a member of the UAE National Nursing Reform Board and a member of the National Committee for Nursing and Midwifery Affairs. Dr. Yousef has extensive academic and research experiences and published multiple studies in highly ranked journals His research interests focus on advanced clinical and psychological care for patients with Diabetes Mellitus. He is also working on multiple research projects concerning contemporary nursing education and simulation pedagogy, bioethics, and psychometric and measurement theory in healthcare research. Dr. Yousef serves as the chair of the scientific committee and the co-chair of the organizing committee of the International Conference of Advancements in Healthcare and Sciences-HCT. He is also the chair of the scientific committee and the sub-chair of the organizing committee of the International Conference of Competency-based Education-HCT.
Dr. Samantha Ismaile is an Assistant professor in Nursing and the Program Team Leader for the nursing program at Sharjah Campus-HCT. Dr. Ismaile is a Ph.D. holder in Health sciences with a subspecialty in Leadership and Administration in Nursing, Nursing Ethics, and Medical Education. Dr. Ismaile's researches and publications strive to reach the excellency in nursing management and leadership roles that focus on patient safety and quality of care through improving the quality of nursing education and the administration roles related to the nursing profession.
Dr. Sanad is a Full-time Faculty in the nursing program at Higher Colleges of Technology, Sharjah Women’s Campus. Dr. Sanad has extensive academic and research experiences and published multiple studies in highly ranked journals. Her research interest focuses on but limited to simulation methodologies in nursing education, nursing leadership, patient satisfaction and nursing workforce.
With five years Hospital experience as a Staff Nurse in a government Hospital in her country of origin focus in Emergency department, PICU /NICU and Medical ward, from 2007 – 2012. Started working in UAE in 2013 as a Training coordinator in a private training center conducting AHA and ASHI courses, then was hired in Dubai Health Authority – Medical Education Department, Life Support Section in 2014 as a Trainor to conduct AHA courses and other medical trainings including BLS, ACLS, PEARS, First AID, IV Therapy, Triage course and basic ECG. Attended various Medical Simulation Training like essential of Simulation from INACSL and EuSIM Level 1 Simulation Instructor Course by EuSim (CAMES, METS) in Porto, Portugal in 2019.
Mr. Christian is a Certified Licensed Nurse and an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-B) in the Philippines. He served as a Simulation Technologist and a Medical Coordinator for Resident programs on Emergency, Anesthesia, Orthopedics and ENT, (ATLS) Advance Trauma Life Support Course, AHA Courses under OMSB (Oman Medical Specialty Board) for the past six years, and was awarded on 2018 for his valuable contributions and outstanding performance in the field. He is well experienced and knowledgeable in dealing with High to mid fidelity Simulators, task trainers, AV Systems and other related technological equipment for Medical Simulation including VR. He is currently working for HCT- Sharjah Women’s Campus as a Lab Assistant under Faculty of Health Sciences-Nursing Department and aims to assist and achieved the goals for Nursing program specially in simulation.
Adrianne serves as the Clinical Simulation Education Specialist for Leader Healthcare Group. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from one of the oldest Nursing Institutes in the Philippines, Mary Chiles College, and is currently in thesis writing phase leading to a Masters of Science Degree in Nursing and Public Health. He has over 15 years of experience in tertiary hospitals in the Philippines and Saudi Arabia, performing different Clinical and Administrative roles over the span of his career.
He is a Certified Basic Life Support and Heartsaver Instructor under the auspices of the American Heart Association. He is a Clinical Simulation resource person for many Medical and Nursing schools for various Simulation and Education equipment under Leader Healthcare and is a strong advocate and proponent of Simulation Based Learning in Medical and Nursing Education.
Apart from being a Nurse and a Simulation Practitioner, Adrianne is also an experienced Certified Medical Coder who have gained experience in private companies in the Philippines and in a prominent hospital in the UAE.
