Emirates Health Services announces the working hours of its healthcare facilities during the month of Ramadan

Emirates Health Services (EHS) announced the working hours of its healthcare facilities during the holy month of Ramadan. The healthcare facilities will continue to operate on the usual shift system during the holy month, which includes morning and evening shifts, while emergency departments will operate 24/7.

EHS explained that all hospitals, primary healthcare centers, dental centers, public health centers, and residency medical examination centers will provide services from Monday to Thursday from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM, and from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Fridays. The primary healthcare centers will provide services in shifts on weekdays from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM and from 8:30 PM to 12:00 AM, while on Fridays they will receive patients from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM and from 8:30 PM to 12:00 AM.

Public health centers in Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah, and Fujairah will provide services from Monday to Thursday from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM, and from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Fridays. Specialized dental centers will operate during Ramadan in the morning from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM and in the evening from 8:30 PM to 12:00 AM, except for Dubai Specialized Dental Center which will operate only in the morning. As for Fridays, specialized dental centers will receive patients from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

As for Medical Examination Centers For Residency, they will operate according to their morning and evening schedules. Most centers’ morning shifts will start at 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM until 4:15 PM and 5:30 PM, respectively. Evening sessions are available at Sahara Residence Medical Examination Center, Alshrooq Medical Examination Centre, Al Taj Smart Medical Examination Centre, Waqa Medical Examination Center, and Al Nuaimiya Medical Examination Centre from 8:00 PM until midnight.

Clients wishing to visit all Emirates Health Services’ facilities, including hospitals, Medical Examination Centers For Residency, primary and public healthcare centers, and dental centers, can find all working hours throughout the holy month on the EHS’ official website.

EHS affirmed that all its hospitals and healthcare centers will continue to operate with full readiness according to the Ramadan work schedule and shift system, aiming to provide the highest standards of healthcare services to the community. It urged everyone to avoid unhealthy behaviors and dietary patterns during and after iftar, and to benefit spiritually and healthily from fasting during the blessed month of Ramadan.
